Positions: MAC Registered & Licensed Dietitian
Nutritionist. Education: Mary Ann graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. Her 12 month Dietetic Internship was at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Experience: Mary Ann has worked as an In- Patient & Out-Patient Clinical Dietitian in Pediatrics, Weight Management, Cardiology, Endocrine, Oncology and as a Group Wellness & Weight Loss Instructor. She has completed the Certificate of Adult Weight Management.
Special Interest: Mary Ann’s passions include keeping busy with Family & Friends, Traveling, Cooking, Organizing & Scrapbooking, Tennis, Bike Riding & 2 Dachshunds. She is a Home -Based business women with Ruby Ribbon Shapeware.
Teaching Philosophy: Mary Ann wants to take good nutrition practices down to the basics by educating people to make good choices when shopping, preparing and consuming healthy foods. She listens to and observes a person’s needs while obtaining a medical history and food recalls. She likes to educate in a manner that is personalized for their lifestyle and asks questions to confirm their understanding. Follow up and accountability is important!

Catherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Master of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University. She is a registered, licensed dietitian, and wellness coach with over 20 years of experience. She is also Board Certified in Sports Nutrition. Prior to opening Advice for Eating, Catherine was the lead dietitian at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. She specializes in weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, endometriosis, heart disease, and pediatric nutrition. She served as the Director of Nutrition for US Diving for 11 years. Catherine was a member of the Texas A&M Varsity Diving Team and is currently an active member of the running community in Houston. She has competed in 6 triathlons, including two 1⁄2 Ironmans, 20 marathons, 3 ultramarathons and is a 18 time Boston marathon qualifier.

Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Tulane University. She is a registered, licensed dietitian, and wellness coach. Her nutrition focus is in wellness, weight loss, healthy cooking, and disease prevention with a special interest in specific diets
including but not limited to: vegan/vegetarian, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, anti-inflammatory and
FODMAP friendly. Brittany loves to cook and has combined this hobby with her passion for health and
longevity to help clients cultivate a diet that is focused on clean eating and real foods. In working with
Brittany, clients will learn to develop sustainable, healthy habits that will become a lifestyle, lasting them
beyond their immediate goals.
