Get in the groove with our wide variety of group fitness options. 

Good Life/Senior Programming

 

Our Good Life Program meets the needs of our mature adults (60 years plus) through diverse programming. Formatted for active older adults, our classes are designed to improve functional and cardiovascular fitness, as well as flexibility and range of motion. In addition to use of the facility, special programming during Good Life hours include several group exercise classes, water exercise classes, and special events such as lectures and socials.

Good Life Membership Hours

​

Mid-day Senior’s memberships are welcome to use the club Monday - Friday from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.

​

In addition to our water exercise classes, Good Life programming during the Mid-day Senior's membership period also provides special group classes in Studio A. Class Descriptions

​

Water Walking. This class is designed for low impact with the pool floor and will help with correcting posture is-sues. This gentle class also may help with arthritis, balance issues, osteoporosis, osteopenia, and was originally designed for adults coping with Multiple Sclerosis. In addition to 20 minutes of different types of walking, you will experience gentle jogging in place intervals with range of motion movements interspersed, as well as a lot of stretching for a total of 45 minutes of fun aqua to great

MUSIC!

Aquatic Fitness. In this class, you will enjoy the many benefits that aquatic exercise has to offer. Whether the pool is your only workout, or an addition to cycling, weights, or aerobic classes, this low impact high intensity workout will challenge you while increasing your balance, coordination, and cardio system. Using the water's natural resistance to increase strength, endurance, and range of motion to provide power and decrease injury. The workout includes the use of aquatic equipment for strength training. All fitness levels are welcome. 4-4:45 Sunday.

Good Life Cardio Plus. This class is designed with MAC Good Life members in mind, but is open to any member or any fitness level who wants a full hour, low impact, total body workout. The class focuses on cardiovascular conditioning, but also includes work to in
crease range of motion, improve balance and develop muscular strength and endurance. Come for fitness, friendship and fun. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11-11:45 am, Saturdays 12 - 1:00pm, and Sundays 4 - 5:00 pm

Core and More. The weekend will not be complete until you stop by the MAC aquatic center for a complete bod workout. This class Is a 60 minute high intensity and core water movement class. Various pieces of equipment are utilized during this class the challenge you and improve your health. Saturday, 12-1:00 pm.

We offer water exercise classes during Mid-day Senior's Membership hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday:

  • Good Life Cardio Plus 10:45-11:45 am, Saturdays 12 - 1:00pm, and Sundays 4 - 5:00 pm

  • Water Walking Classes Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11:45 - 12:30pm

Additionally, Mid-day Senior's membership offers participation in two weekend Water Aerobic classes:

  • Saturday, 12 - 1:00 pm, Core and More

  • Sunday, 4 - 5:00 pm, Aquatic Fitness
